FINANCIAL ANALYST

Position Location: York, PA

Hours: Full-Time | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Scope: The Financial Analyst is the primary contact for all financial reporting and analysis to support Consumer Reports.  They will need to possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial concepts to support the company’s strategic business decisions.

Essential Functions

This position exists to perform the essential functions. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

1. Primary contact for Consumer Reports for all financial reporting and analysis such as weekly pipeline reports, revenue analysis, delivering salesforce information on demand, trend analysis, and penetration analysis.
2. Support Client Success Manager and Sales Director on developing and presenting quarterly business reviews and other client requested projects.
3. With assistance from the Director, formulate a topline fiscal year revenue forecast at least quarterly, but upon client request. This forecast shows assets delivered YTD, pipeline weighted by probability, and strategy to close any projected revenue gap.
4. Attend weekly client meeting presenting sales updates.
5. Assist Sales Executives in ensuring entries to salesforce are accurate. 
6. Keep YGS management up to date on any clients’ concerns or problems.
7. Support team in pricing analysis and recommendations. Ability to model these recommendations to show how the structure would achieve revenue goals.
8. Daily contact with Client/Consumer Reports.
9. Complies with policies of the organization.
10. Other duties as assigned.

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

Skills & Experience:

• 1-3 years’s experience in financial management planning & analysis.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and financial modeling
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Attention to accuracy and detail required.
• Analytical and critical thinking skills
• Basic knowledge of accounting programs
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.
• Time management skills and ability to work on tight deadlines.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce.
• Must have a valid driver’s license

Physical Requirements:

Physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 90 percent of the time with the balance of time required interacting or helping with internal and external customers.
• Regularly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
• Occasionally move about inside the facility to access files, office machinery, etc.
• Occasionally ascends/descends stairs.
