PRODUCTION COORDINATOR
Publisher Solutions
Position Location: York, PA/Hybrid
Hours: Full-Time | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Scope: The Production Coordinator is an essential member of the Publisher Solutions team, collaborating closely with the Director, Production Manager, Marketing Manager, Account Managers and Account Executives. This position is responsible for completing sales orders from start to finish, including the design of product proofs and mockups, customer communication of revisions and approvals and the execution of sending final artwork to production. Award logos, print, digital and ancillary awards are just examples of our product catalog. Additionally, the Production Coordinator will assist the Production and Marketing Managers with marketing, updating, and maintaining websites, rate card design/updates, and other marketing pieces the team requires.
Essential Functions

- Using existing publisher layouts (graphic and text), reflow to fit existing product templates for mockup and proof design.
- Revise and complete orders as approved by customers.
- Familiar with prepress techniques and file preparation.
- Competence in preparing files to exchange by FTP or other electronic sending processes.
- Organize, file and archive all completed production jobs.
- Track metrics for the production team/analyze results.
- Assist with order separation in CRM as needed.
- Verify order acknowledgments with sent jobs to confirm accuracy.
- Log shipping notifications and send to customers.
- Enter publisher jobs in CRM as needed.
- Assist with general production team housekeeping.
- Assist in the design of sales and promotional material as needed for publishers and conferences/events including sell sheets, direct mailers, posters, counter cards, etc.
- Implement or coordinate with the Production Manager any content changes and development upgrades in support of storefronts and landing pages.
- Assist with email campaign management and sending.
- Educate yourself consistently with both online and offline tutorials as digital marketing strategies are always changing and improving.
- Updating and maintaining websites, rate card design/updates, and other marketing pieces the team requires.
- Contribute to team success by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
- Execute, monitor, and help manage digital campaigns and maintain detailed reporting for all key metrics.
- This role is 90% internal and 10% client-facing.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related field, preferred.
- High school diploma or GED is required.
Skills & Experience:
- Proficient in MS Office products and Adobe Creative Cloud Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator on a MAC platform, WordPress basic knowledge
- Knowledge of email marketing
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in graphic design or related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in web analytics, preferably Google Analytics
- Ability to multi-task – Manages multiple tasks at one time; quickly and accurately shifts attention among multiple tasks under distracting conditions without loss of accuracy or appearance of frustration.
- Communication skills – Strong writing ability with command of proper grammar, style, vocabulary, and proofreading ability.

- This position frequently communicates with members of cross functional teams, and internal and external customers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position approximately 90 percent of the time with the balance of time required interacting or helping with internal and external customers.
- Regularly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
- Occasionally move about inside the facility to access files, office machinery.
- Regularly move objects weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Occasionally ascends/descends stairs.
- Constantly works in an indoor temperature-controlled environment.
