SALES REPRESENTATIVE Fulfillment & Warehouse Solutions

Location: Onsite, York, PA

Hours: Full-Time |8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday

Scope: The YGS Group is a full-service provider of marketing, print, publishing, and fulfillment solutions. Headquarters in York, PA, we deliver innovative, customized services to clients across a variety of industries. We are looking for a driven and experienced Fulfillment and Warehouse Sales Specialist to help expand our fulfillment and logistics business. As a Fulfillment and Warehouse Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new sales opportunities related to warehousing, distribution, and fulfillment services. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams to create solutions that meet client needs while growing revenue and strengthening client relationships. This position reports to the Vice President of Corporate Sales.

  • Identify and develop new B2B sales opportunities for warehouse, distribution, and fulfillment services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
  • Develop and deliver customized proposals and presentations.
  • Effectively negotiating contracts, rates, and terms to secure the best possible deals. 
  • Collaborate with operations and fulfillment teams to ensure service excellence.
  • Maintain detailed records of sales activity using a CRM system.
  • Report on sales progress regularly to senior leadership. 
  • Demonstrate results and achievement of performance metrics.
  • Meet sales goals and performance metrics.
  • Strive to exceed sales goals and performance metrics.
  • Stay current on industry trends, analyze data, competitor offers, and recommend competitive opportunities regularly.
  • Represent The YGS Group at client meetings, events, and trade shows.

Education:

  • A high school diploma/or GED equivalency, required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales and Marketing, Print and Graphic Communications, or related field, preferred, and/or, an equivalent combination of education, training, and on-the-job experience, required. 

Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience (fulfillment, logistics, or warehousing preferred).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and storage techniques. 
  • Familiarity with logistics software and technologies used for tracking, managing, and optimizing supply chains. 
  • Understanding different transportation methods and their respective strengths and weaknesses, and value to sales.
  • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce a plus).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understanding of all aspects of the logistics supply chain, from order placement, fulfillment process, packaging, shipping logistics, and inventory systems, to final delivery.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and organized with a results-driven mindset.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and other stakeholders to foster trust and loyalty. 
  • Ability to achieve sales goals and performance metrics consistently.

Physical Requirements:

  • Communicating with others (internally/or externally) to exchange information, verbally, in writing, virtually, in person.
  • Working on computer for extended periods of time.
  • Remaining in a stationary position, sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Ascending or descending stairs.
  • Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another.
  • Adjusting or moving objects up to 10 pounds in all directions.
  • The maximum weight lifted 50 pounds.
  • Travel may consist of overnight travel attending client meetings, events, and trade shows.
