The Challenge
Fast Company is the world’s leading progressive business media brand, with a unique editorial focus on innovation in technology, leadership, world-changing ideas and design. Fast Company felt that there was greater revenue potential for its accolade licensing program and was seeking a partner that could take it to the next level. It was intrigued by the tremendous success and amount of revenue that YGS was able to deliver year over year for its sister company, Inc. So, Fast Company and YGS began a partnership toward the end of 2015.

The Results
By first analyzing and reviewing Fast Company’s current accolade program, YGS developed a comprehensive accolade licensing program, implementing a sales strategy that focused on innovation in technology and design. The sales efforts were supported by a comprehensive marketing plan, including a custom-built storefront for 24/7 online ordering, new product offerings, printed marketing materials, personal sales calls and emails, and scheduled e-blasts with targeted messaging based on sales cycle and content freshness.

In the second full year, YGS increased sales revenue by 200 percent over Fast Company’s previous service (Pars). And by the end of June, we landed at 98 percent of sales revenue for all of 2017.
